PRATT & 3D Brooklyn Create Work Readiness Learning Course

Brooklyn, New York:Nowinits11thyear,theYoungEntrepreneurMentorshipProgram(YEMP)                             teams with3D Brooklyn to bring a studio learning and work readiness learning to its students.                                 Through this partnership, local high school students are taking part in a pre-college design                             workshop that introduces the group to the design process and 3D printing technology. Aptly                             named Design Process: From Sketch to Prototype

, the class will challenge students to                          investigate a design problem and useopensource3Ddrawingsoftwarewith3Dprintingtotake                                 their ideas from sketch to a printed 3D model.    During this course the students will receive instruction from the three co-founders of 3D                             Brooklyn, each bringing their own unique talents and professional backgrounds. The crash                         courses cover ideation, 3D design, first prototypes, design iteration, revised prototypes, 3d                         printing and promotion. A similar formula that 3D Brooklyn uses when working with its many                               design and prototyping clients in Bushwick, Brooklyn.       "Desktop 3D manufacturing technology has empowered a communityofartistsandentrepreneurstoshare                             their designs.
